Vice President of Tanzania Urges Citizens to Safeguard Road Infrastructure and Avoid Accidents

The Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Philip Mpango, has called on citizens to responsibly use the road infrastructure being developed by the government in order to prevent accidents that cause significant harm.

The Vice President made this appeal while addressing congregants after attending the Morning Mass at the Virgin Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Parish in Kasumo Village, Kigoma Region.

He noted that the construction of tarmac roads in various areas, including the village, would lead to an increase in motor vehicles, making it crucial for people to learn and teach their children how to use the roads safely.

Additionally, the Vice President emphasized that building infrastructure is costly, and therefore, citizens must take care of it to ensure its longevity.

Furthermore, the Vice President encouraged citizens to participate in the upcoming Local Government elections. He stressed the importance of this process, as it offers the opportunity to elect leaders who live among the people and are committed to addressing community challenges rather than pursuing personal interests.
