The Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism, Angellah Kairuki, made the announcement in parliament while presenting the Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for her Ministry for the Financial Year 2024/25.
Kairuki stated that the construction aims to expand the conservation of Tanzania's natural and cultural heritage.
She further mentioned that the Presidential Museums will enhance and promote research on historical issues, as well as increase cultural tourism attractions.
The construction will be carried out under the auspices of the National Museum of Tanzania.
