 Tragic Accident: School Bus Plunges Into Ravine, Claiming Lives of Six Children

In a devastating incident, a primary school bus with registration number T496 EFK belonging to Ghati Memorial School veered off the road into a ravine in the streets of Dampo, Sinoni Ward, and was swept away by water.

 According to the Commissioner of Police for Operations and Training of the Tanzanian Police Force, Awadhi Haji, "The confirmed death toll stands at six, with efforts ongoing to locate two missing students."

One of the survivors, Glory Daniel, recounted, "The driver was asked by the teacher if we could pass, he chuckled and proceeded, and then the bus fell down below."

Rescue operations are underway as authorities continue their search for the missing students.
