Majaliwa Chairs Inaugural Meeting of National Committee for 2050 Development Vision Preparation

  

Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa, who also serves as the Chairman of the National Committee for the Preparation of the 2050 Development Vision, led the first meeting of the committee on January 15, 2024, at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Zanzibar Airport.

The meeting was also attended by the Second Vice President of Zanzibar, Hon. Hemed Suleiman Abdulah, who is the Co-Chair of the committee.

Other leaders present included the Minister of State in the Office of the President, Planning and Investment, Prof. Kitila Mkumbo, the Secretary-General of the Office of the President, Planning and Investment, Dr. Tausi Kida, and the Executive Director of the Planning Commission, Mr. Lawrence Mafuru.
