In a continued effort to strengthen wildlife conservation and protection efforts, the Caribbean Naples Zoo from the United States has donated ten (10) tents to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA). The donation is aimed at supporting the conservation of white rhinos and other wildlife species within the Ngorongoro World Heritage Site.
Speaking on behalf of Caribbean Naples Zoo in Tanzania, Albert Mollel emphasized that the donation of the tents is part of the ongoing partnership to enhance the sustainable protection and conservation of wildlife resources, particularly rare and endangered species like the white rhino.
“Our institution is committed to supporting conservation efforts, and this donation is a continuation of our collaboration to strengthen the protection of endangered wildlife such as the rhino,” said Mollel.
Receiving the donation, the NCAA Conservation Commissioner, Mr. Abdul-Razaq Badru, expressed his gratitude to the Caribbean Naples Zoo for the generous support, noting that the equipment will significantly improve the efficiency of rangers in protecting rhinos and other animals in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
“This is a valuable contribution that will enable our conservation rangers to carry out their duties more effectively in protecting the rhinos and other wildlife in Ngorongoro,” said Mr. Badru.
